Project 1: Multi-functional Dehydration Plant We are establishing a versatile dehydration plant for the primary drying of crops such as amla, ashwagandha, lemongrass leaves, and patchouli. This facility will also double as a ripening chamber for bananas and mangoes and serve as a cold storage unit with a capacity of up to 20 tons of vegetables. This three-in-one solution is designed to empower small and marginal farmers by enhancing the quality of their produce and ensuring better market prices. Supported by New Leaf, this innovative initiative is transforming agricultural practices in the region.
Project 2: Honey Processing Plant Our district, rich in flora ideal for honeybee farming, now hosts its first 5-ton-per-day honey processing plant. Farmers previously sold raw honey at low rates due to limited processing options. Recognizing this challenge, Belha Mai FPO launched this project to support honeybee cultivators, providing them with a sustainable platform to add value to their produce and boost their income.
